Researchers claiming the benefits of omega-3 fatty acids in the fight against dry eye, according to an Seattle Times article.  Research supports that taking an omega-3 supplement can, in fact, reduce the symptoms of dry eye.

In recent years, fish oil has come to the forefront as a potential combatant of dry eye due to its concentration of omega-3 fatty acids. According to the Mayo Clinic, fish oil provides two different omega-3s that are generally regarded as providing health benefits.
