New Study Shows Vitamin B3 May Protect Against Glaucoma

Researchers in Maine at the Jackson Laboratory have recently completed a recent study that shows the addition of Vitamin B3 to your diet may help to increase eye health and even protect against glaucoma.
The study, conducted on mice that were genetically predisposed to glaucoma, showed that adding B3 to the mice's water helped to increase their ability to protect against glaucoma. The doctors were also able to determine that a single gene therapy with the enzyme was just as effective in preventing glaucoma.
