Pokemon GO Creating Some Eye Health Concerns
Pokemon GO has swept the country and it seems like everyone is out playing around Phenix City. While the boost in activity as a result of the game has been great, there are some potential concerns in the health field that parents should be aware of.
Most importantly, parents should be aware of the digital eye strain from over use of electronic devices. While children are being active, they are staring at a screen for extended periods of time.
Secondly, parents should be concerned about exposure to harmful UV rays. While your children are outside playing Pokemon GO, if they don't have the proper eyewear, they could be hurting their eyes.
Overall, Pokemon GO has been a great game for the summer time, but parents make sure you're controlling your children's exposure to digital eye strain and harmful UV rays.
