Having Trouble With Floaters?

Eye floaters

You may have heard the term "floaters" before in relation to your eyes and wondered, "what are they talking about?"

Well, floaters are the tiny spots or specks that can form in your eye and float around field of vision. The result as the vitreous, the liquid part of the eye which starts off as gel-like in our youth, has gel like pieces that have not dissolved. Typically, they are very common and are no cause for alarm, however there is a situation when they can be symptomatic of a greater issue.

If you were to notice a host of floaters that are accompanied by flashes of light, you would need to contact an eye professional. Those signs are an indication that your vitreous could be separating from your retina. It could also mean that your retina could be detaching from the back of the inner eye.
