Grapes May Help Your Eye Health

Eating Grapes Helps Eye Health

New research published shows that eating grapes may help to protect your eye health. The study showed that diets supplemented with grapes were able to counter oxidative stress and preserve retinal structure.
Natural components in grapes that help promote antioxidant activity are thought to be responsible for these beneficial effects, in keeping with previous studies that indicate grape-derived compounds are biologically active in the retina. -California Table Grape Commission

While this is a new study and we don't believe it's cause for people to eat a ton of grapes, it does show the importance of a balanced diet. There are many foods that benefit your eyes and you need to make sure your diet is balanced with them all.
