The CDC is urging contact lenses wearers to not sleep in their contacts. We know that there are contact lenses designed for extended wear. Even a recent study shows that 50% of contact lenses wearers sleep in their contact lenses.

All those facts aside, it is still too risky to sleep in your contacts. If you do, you greatly increase your chances for infection that could ultimately rob you of your eye sight.
