New Eye Drops Show Promise For Those With Cataracts

A recent article is touting promising findings in an eye drop offering a cure for those suffering from cataracts. The article highlights the work done by a team of researchers from the University of California and the University of Michigan.

The team is working with a chemical called "Compound 29" and it is from the family of sterols. The team believes the were able to separate the diseased crystallin proteins from the healthy ones and determined that compound 29 did the best in melting the bad proteins that cause cataracts.
