Phenix City, Blinking Is Good For You
In the 21st century we are a digital world. Most everything we do involves some sort of display on a screen. As a result, more and more of us suffer from digital eye strain.
Digital eye strain appears as discomfort from prolonged exposure to close to mid-range digital screens. There are two main ways to combat digital eye strain. First, taking breaks from the screen. After 15-20 minutes of looking at the screen, take a break and focus on something far off to give your eyes a rest. Secondly, blink. It seems obvious, but digital screens have the ability to interrupt our normal blinking process. Blinking is critical to keeping your eyes moisturized and refreshed.
Technology is here to stay, so we need to make sure that we are taking the steps to protect ourselves.
